Still Playing Championship Baseball

Two of our Reality Sports board members, Steve Rapkoch and Bill Ralston, are still playing winning baseball.  The Roy Hobbs World Series recently crowned their team, the Washington Titans, the 2008 World Champions for the Legends Division (55 and older).  This isn't your namby-pamby slowpitch church league.  These dudes are ex-major league and minor-leaguers still hucking it 75+ mph.

The championship is played every year in Florida at the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins spring training complexes.  This was a special championship for Ralston and Rapkoch, as it was their fourth consecutive championship.  Let's see, back-to-back-to-back-to-back...that's a long T-shirt inscription.  For a group of old men with a passion for the game, this was an unprecedented accomplishment.

Rapkoch anchors the middle infield at shortstop, while Ralston does a masterful job at first base.  Both men have been active participants and critical players in the development of Reality Sports from its inception.

Congratulations, fellas!  You inspire me!
