La'akea joins the Reality Sports 12U baseball team after playing for the CBA Blue Wave 11U team in 2009.  Besides baseball, La'akea plays Lacrosse and Basketball.  Another one of his favorite activities is Hawaiian dancing which he does quite often. His favorite baseball player, who he actually met last year, is Shane Victorino.  La'akea is a Representatve for his class and is on the Yearbook Committee at Drum Intermediate.  He is proud of his Hawaiian/Chamorro Heritage and plans to go to college in the future.  La'akea puts all his faith in God!
