I was wondering if there are any Dads( or moms) who have a coaching card, and who are going to the Elma tournament that would be willing to coach my son. He is a Pee Wee 50lb. His name is Seth and really wants to go to the tourney but he needs a coach since he is inexperienced. You can reply here or send me an email at Luvgrmshep@aol.com or call 253-376-7738.
Thanks, Tracey Dawkins
I have a 9 year old that would like to start wrestleing and I don't know were to start. I have a scheluling conflict on Tues. nights. Would just coming on a thurs be enough for him to get our feet wet?
You could certainly do one night a week, but he may feel a little lost. Our technique system builds on itself; everything learned is used for the next technique. We have definitely had kids do one night a week, but I must warn you that it could get frustrating. Obviously, our coaches will help as much as possible.
We have kids of all levels in the room, from state champions to beginners, so it is fast-paced to meet the needs at the top but easy enough to follow that beginners can grow tremendously.
Thanks for your interest in the program.
Mr. Peterson,
Will you be splitting the groups off like last year and having the HS kids come on a different day?
Susan
I am waiting to hear back on facility availability for Mondays and Wednesdays for the older kids, but for now they will all be together. If we get clearance for Mon/Wed, we would begin those after the high school state tournament.
what general age range do you think the wrestling workouts will be-- we have a 15 soon to be 16 year old.. would there likely be wrestlers in his weight class-- 189-- or would it be more likely that this would be for younger kids.. If that were so, would you need help/volunteering that our son could be involved with- helping younger kids?
It will be primarily younger kids to start with and more high school kids as the high school season finishes up. We are trying to get 2 different nights for the high school kids to be separate from the younger kids.
Give me a call for volunteer opportunities. We can always use extra hands with the little guys.
Thanks!
Brian

WE WILL SEE YOU THERE
The Dome is your focus right now! Go get'em!
Brian - "First Things First" is exactly what Kurt Warner told the ABC announcer after he had just won the Super Bowl and he then proceeded to give thanks and praise to Jesus before saying anything about football. He later started a charity foundation called First Things First Foundation named after his comments on TV. So maybe wrestling should be Second Things Second!
Love your program - everyone in Bonney Lake thinks the world of you.
