Rusty Tyack

Prior to joining Reality Sports in 2009 as Director of Martial Arts, Rusty and his two boys enjoyed participating in the RS Wrestling programs. Rusty started training formal martial arts in 1991. Over the past 20 years he has had the pleasure of practicing Seiei Kan Karate, Kick Boxing, American Kenpo Karate, Shorin Ryu Karate, Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu and Kajukenbo. He is a 1st degree black belt in  Kajukenbo Ge Shou Dao.

Although he is able to utilize the experience from each of these disciplines, he focuses on Kajukenbo Ge Shou Dao, Submission Grappling and Wrestling as the base of the Reality Sports Martial Arts (RSMA) curriculum.

Rusty and his family strive each day to answer the call of the words spoken in Romans 10:14. They enjoy the work they have been called to with Reality Sports and love serving others for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rusty resides in Tacoma, WA with his wife and two sons.
