Tim Kuykendall

District Commissioner - Bellevue Middle School Sports

Tim currently is the district commissioner for the middle school sports program in the Bellevue School District. He oversees 7 middle schools that offer soccer, flag football, and basketball for boys and girls. The sports program was launched in the fall of 2011, offering sports to middle school students in the Bellevue School District for the first time since 1985.

Tim is currently the Head 14U RS Baseball Coach. He initiated the RS Baseball program in 2006 and has been instrumental in the program's development. Tim also works alongside Brian Peterson as chaplain for the Tacoma Rainiers, the AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.  

Playing under baseball legend Bobo Brayton at Washington State University (WSU), Tim was selected as an All Pac-10 outfielder and 1989 Pac-10 North Player of the Year. He was honored in 2010 to be part of Bobo's "All Legends Team", as one of  the top 50 players in Bobo's illustrious coaching career.  

Tim coached baseball for two years at WSU as a volunteer assistant, 12 years at Auburn High School, and four years at Curtis High School.  While at Auburn HS, he helped build the baseball program into a state power, seeing his teams play in the State's Final Four four times.  He was voted by the coaches in his league as the South Puget Sound League (SPSL) Coach of the Year four times during his tenure.  Multiple players in his program have gone on to play at the college level, as well as seeing five of his former players taken in the major league draft .  

Tim resides in Fircrest, WA with his wife and three children.
