Who We are

Who We are

We believe that by preaching the gospel and making disciples of Jesus, who will in turn go and make more disciples of Jesus, that the world can be impacted through the platform of sport.

"These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also…saying there is another king, Jesus.”

Acts 17:6-7 (ESV)

OUR VISION

To turn the world upside down through sport.

Vision
Misson

We believe that we have each been called to make disciples in our context, by preaching the gospel, and teaching others to follow Jesus.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

Mark 16:15 (ESV)

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)

OUR MISSION

To share the life-changing message of the gospel with athletes and families, and to make disciple-makers of Jesus Christ within the context of sport.

OUR STRATEGY

Teams and Training provide a strategy to implement our 4Foundations with coaches, athletes and parents.

Teams provide coaches with a platform to spend significant amounts of time with athletes. They preach the gospel, live out discipleRShip relationships, and apply the gospel in the heat of competition.

Training is provided on a donation basis and open to all athletes as a means to reach them with the gospel and as a mechanism for building RS teams. It also provides an platform for missionaries and coaches to make disciples.

To equip and send sports missionaries into a sport culture to impact athletes through TEAMS and open TRAINING utilizing the Four Foundations of Reality Sports.

Coaching Excellence

Intentional

Messages

Coaching Excellence provides an audience for sharing the gospel and making disciple-makers. We recognize that in order to be relevant - that is, to have a voice in the sporting community - we need to have coaches who know and understand their sport and pursue a godly level of excellence.

Reality Sports coaches share Intentional Messages from God’s Word, articulating the gospel message to athletes and families during workouts. By opening the Bible and teaching about the good news of a relationship with Jesus Christ, coaches explain the reality of a personal God who desires connection to every area of our lives, including training, competition, and life outside our sport.

Competing Upside down

Competing UPSIDE DOWN is a gospel-centered philosophy of competition according TO the Word of God, BY the power of God FOR the glory of God. The TO-BY-FOR mentality of competition is applied in sport through the 4 AREAS OF BLESSING: Teammates, Opponents, Officials and the "Forgotten." Blessing by definition is an undeserved gift, or grace. In response to the grace believers in Jesus Christ have received, blessing is then offered to others in the midst of training and competition.

DiscipleRShip

IMG_5105.JPG

DiscipleRShip is training disciples of Jesus to make disciples of Jesus to make more disciples of Jesus - becoming disciple-makers, or disciplers. Walking with coaches, volunteers, athletes and parents in prayer, Bible study, and Competing UPSIDE DOWN biblical philosophy, and then teaching them to equip others to do the same is DiscipleRShip.
